Iron Control/Sequestering Agents

Our Iron Sequestering Agents/Iron Control Agents Prevent Iron From Migrating and Precipitating in The Formation
ICA-61

ICA-61 agent is an effective iron-sequestering material used as an acid sequestrant in oil well acidizing operations. The recommended concentration is 5 to 10 gal/1,000 gal of hydrochloric acid.

Advantages

  • Dispersible and non-reactive with acid additives
  • Capable of reducing up to 30,000 ppm ferric iron dependent on additive concentration
ICA-51

ICA-51 is an Organic acid salt solution that prevents the precipitation of gelatinous ferric hydroxide by reducing ferric iron to ferrous iron. ICA-51 agent is effective at temperatures up to °F (177°C).

Advantages

  • Dispersible and non-reactive with acid additives
  • Capable of quickly reducing up to 30,000 ppm ferric iron
  • Can be used in HCl solutions up to 28% concentration
ICA-320

ICA-320 is an iron control additive that quickly reduces ferric iron in both live and spent acid. Ferric iron is often dissolved into solution during acidizing when the acid contacts treating iron, tubing/casing, and iron based minerals/scales.ICA-320 is active at temperatures to 110°C (230°F).

Advantages

  • Dispersible and non-reactive with acid additives
  • Capable of reducing up to 30,000 ppm ferric iron dependent on additive concentration
